Merge and expand memorialization of George Floyd?
[edit]There are several articles about specific memorials to George Floyd that may lack lasting notability on their own. Perhaps there could be a better quality article that discusses the memorialization of George Floyd more broadly?
Possible articles to consider merging:
- Bust of George Floyd
- George Floyd mural (Portland, Oregon) with some trimming for lasting relevance
- George Floyd and Anti-Racist Street Art database with some trimming for lasting relevance
- Statue of George Floyd
Possible articles with relevant content to draw from:
- George Floyd Square, the section on George Floyd Global Memorial
- George Floyd Square occupied protest, the section on George Floyd murals
- George Floyd, the section on Memorials and legacy
- Murder of George Floyd, the section on Memorials
- George Floyd protests in Minneapolis–Saint Paul, the section on Memorials and gathers (see June 4, 2020)
- Official George Floyd Memorial Fund, a GoFundMe campaign discussed there
Other things worth a few sentences or more in an article about memorializing George Floyd:
- George Floyd Memorial Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Bridgett Floyd in Mooresville, North Carolina
Those are just a few. What do others think? Minnemeeples (talk) 21:02, 27 May 2022 (UTC)
- This article's grown a lot and I imagine there's much more to add. I don't think merging entries is necessary at this time. ---Another Believer (Talk) 18:21, 3 June 2022 (UTC)

He also held his pregnant girlfriend at gun point records state
