This is a reliable and correct source. You are vandalizing and not cooperating. You also change the dates I found from archival work. This is vandalism ScbtobbS (talk) 04:51, 30 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
The personal latter is published in University of Sydney archive. And I have people in Australia verifying the burial site. . ScbtobbS (talk) 05:08, 30 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
No - many dates can be supported by reliably published sources such as obituaries, biographies, etc. But unfortunately in the absence of such materials here, we do need to omit the claims. That's not vandalism; that's policy. Please keep in mind that whatever you post here is expected to meet our site guidelines and policies, and is open to editing by others. I am trying to bring this person out of obscurity and you are blocking me. This is against the policy. These are correct sources. And they are the only sources in existence. I am the main expert on this scientist. ScbtobbS (talk) 05:20, 30 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
There is no policy that supports including details that cannot be verified by reliable published sources. Unfortunately your own personal expertise is not something that can be cited. Nikkimaria (talk) 05:22, 30 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Then they stay out. I appreciate that's not the answer you want to hear, but that's the only possibility given what has been presented so far. Nikkimaria (talk) 05:25, 30 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
OK. It is reference 3, the University of Sydney Archive. You go there, find the file series 1581, then file "Letters Sent by Professor Max Robert Schafroth Relating to His Appointment at the University". The birth date can be found at the end of page 24. I did not cite it initially because I did not consider it critical for the story. I am going to cite it now. ScbtobbS (talk) 17:42, 2 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
It does not appear that that source includes the son's name - what source supports that? And were you able to find a reliable source on burial? Nikkimaria (talk) 00:42, 3 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
