[edit]I contest the deletion. As a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire, Ms. Robottom belongs to a fairly exclusive list of qualified individuals numbering no more than 400 or so since 1917! There is nothin' like a dame 20:10, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
As an admin, I declined to delete it, for the saying someone has a DBE is certainly an assertion of notability. Whether the subject is notable would be a matter for AfD--most of the time DBE is accepted as significant, but sometimes the importance of the particular accomplishments have been challenged there.DGG (talk) 20:28, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
