English or Turkish spelling?

This is enWiki, the English-language Wikipedia. Wherever non-English diacritics are not needed in order to define a sound, they should be avoided. The more so when an English transliteration has been in large circulation already. Such is the case with Marash and sh for Turkish ş. Of course, we need to indicate the local spelling once, in the lead, between brackets, but that's it. Local nationalisms spilling over into Wiki or UN spelling are ridiculous.
