HDI
[edit]Note that the previous figure cited (0.75) is based upon 2017-2018 data from Ashoka University. I replaced it with a 2021 stat from the Global Data Lab, which is newer. Note that there is a significant discrepancy for the two datasets, and they probably use different statistics for the three variables to be calculated. VickKiang (talk) 04:56, 28 November 2023 (UTC)

Hindi is neither official language of Maharashtra nor it have any signtifianat importance in the state of Maharashtra Shyvijay (talk) 13:45, 14 June 2025 (UTC)
Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Day Creature (talk) 01:37, 15 June 2025 (UTC)
- Hindi is not additional official language for the state of Maharashtra. Hindi can also be used for official purposes, but it is not declared as the official language - rather, it is allowed optionally or additionally.
- Source: The Maharashtra Official Languages Act, 1964
- “Notwithstanding anything contained in section 2, Hindi language may also be used for the purposes of any of the official purposes of the State." (see Section 3). Amoljv (talk) 22:18, 8 July 2025 (UTC)
Maharashtras Official language is Marathi. Not Hindi
[edit]Dear Team, Please Note, Maharashtras Official Language is MARATHI and not Hindi.
State government has already Declared this. You can refer AIs like ChatGPT, Grok, Gimini.
Request you to kindly correct this.
Thank You Suraj Khavate (talk) 14:43, 14 June 2025 (UTC)
- AIs like ChatGPT, Grok, Gimini are not considered reliable sources in Wikipedia. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 11:25, 9 July 2025 (UTC)
More photos in main photographs.
[edit]Nagpur is third largest and Winter capital of Maharashtra. There is no mention and there has to be a photo of Nagpur city in the introduction page itself. Also Tadoba Tiger reserve and Lonar lake are unique and specific. Should be there in main photos. Satish-ansingkar (talk) 01:20, 17 June 2025 (UTC)
More inclusivity
[edit]Surely this page needs more inclusivity, more references and more information. The photos also are very limited. Satish-ansingkar (talk) 13:50, 17 June 2025 (UTC)
- Please elaborate on what's missing, and how you can contribute.Thanks. Jonathansammy (talk) 17:43, 9 July 2025 (UTC)
