Why is there no game for 2025?

The article notes there will be no games played in 2025, but it doesn't provide an explanation for it. It apparently was pre-determined when the agreement was originally made in May 2022. I tried to find any events scheduled for 2025 that might have interfered with them playing (like some kind of soccer/rugby/cricket event), but I couldn't find anything.
