Blasto-Phoenicians.
[edit]1) It is Blastophoenicians, not Blasto-Phoenicians. 2) The Blastophoenicians were Roman subjects, not enemies. Mummius did not fight against them.
Further sources
[edit]There are a number of inscriptions related to Lucius, the most important of which is ILS 20 = CIL VI, 331. If nothing more, these should be mentioned in the article. -- llywrch (talk) 19:09, 12 January 2020 (UTC)
Title not exactly replicated in text
[edit]This another article where the title does not exactly match the text. Can someone please correct this appropriately? Droopyfeathers (talk) 20:47, 6 May 2025 (UTC)
- It is correct. "Lucius Mummius... He received the agnomen Achaicus." Also, there is no requirement that the title match the first words of the text. Compare Lady Gaga Furius (talk) 00:02, 7 May 2025 (UTC)
