Requested move 29 May 2025
[edit]
![]() | It has been proposed in this section that Lo-Fi.Vs.Sci-Fi be renamed and moved to Sci:Fi vs. Low:Fi. A bot will list this discussion on the requested moves current discussions subpage within an hour of this tag being placed. Lo-Fi.Vs.Sci-Fi → Sci:Fi vs. Low:Fi – Based on the cover of this album, the actual title of this song seems to be Sci:Fi vs. Low:Fi. If this discussion does not get enough votes to warrant a move, then a new discussion will be started to move this page to Lo Fi.Vs.Sci Fi: Per my userpage, If colons and/or vertical bars can be removed to produce a satisfactory title, then this should be done. - Is this album notable? — BarrelProof (talk) 21:15, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
- Both the album and the band have articles with sources, so yes. Faster than Thunder (talk | contributions) 22:07, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
- The sourcing seems rather thin. The album article cites only one source that is about the album. I can't tell what that source actually says. It is an offline reference to a defunct publication. The band is a different subject. — BarrelProof (talk) 00:11, 30 May 2025 (UTC)

- Comment The album title (and the article title) is determined by what reliable secondary sources use, not the album cover. Note that both the current title and the proposed title use stylisms, which are generally discouraged per MOS:TE. The article cites only two references, both of which are print articles which I am not able to verify. Article may be a candidate for WP:AFD; see WP:NALBUM. 162 etc. (talk) 03:57, 30 May 2025 (UTC)
- Comment I am unable to access the first source normally. It doesn't contain a good external link. Faster than Thunder (talk | contributions) 18:37, 30 May 2025 (UTC)
