@AirshipJungleman29: I believed that I only cited sources which cover individual edit wars in depth and I tried to avoid sources which only give trivial mentions. If some/most of the provided references are trivial coverage, I would like to know which and try to provide more extensive coverage if possible. ―Howard🌽33 19:10, 22 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Add the star trek one

[edit]

I’m busy with work, so if somebody can add Wikipedia Star Trek Into Darkness debate onto the article I would greatly appreciate it. -1ctinus📝🗨 15:30, 23 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Repitition in Background and introduction

[edit]

The start of the introduction is very similar to the start of the background section. Is this done on purpose or not? I would like to see it fixed. KingArthur15 (talk) 21:00, 29 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

the start is meant to serve as a bit of a summary of the rest of the article. it is done on purpose. ―Howard🌽33 12:37, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Fanpage soure

[edit]

Fanpage, in Italy, is some kind of an online newspaper with no politic/economic view and, this could sound great, if it wasn't also a typical "news" tool to fulfill homepages and make user-clicks on its exaggerated claims made by messing around. Aluminum vs Aluminium

[edit]

This one comes to mind as a very similar case to the Star Trek title capitalization one. NicolinoChess31415926 (talk) 06:36, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I've found not much more than passing references in sources which do not mention the beginning or end of the conflict. ―Howard🌽33 06:42, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Nothing

[edit]

I am aware that it is not technically an edit war, but I do believe the constant blanking of Nothing should be mentioned as at least an offhand comment, no? 86.13.247.51 (talk) 21:20, 12 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Only if any reliable sources can be found which directly relate the article to edit wars. ―Howard🌽33 21:24, 12 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Myles Turner

[edit]

Can someone please add the Myles Turner edit war from November 2020? It had over 200 vandalizing edits in the matter of only a few hours after an intentionally disruptively incorrect edit was made that he got traded to the Celtics, and then the article proceeded to replace his picture say Turner was a woman, was 14 feet tall, his picture was replaced with one of Adolf Hitler, people changed his information to shout out themselves on socials, used slang, racist, and offensive terms in random places, and numerous other disturbing edits to his page. Particularly for the social shoutouts part and countless fake offensive name changes, this should probably classify as a war.

Are there any reliable sources covering the incident? ―Howard🌽33 08:59, 25 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Yes there are indeed multiple public sources of the incident, here are three of them right here:

Turner himself found out about the incident, here is his twitter post from that day:
"Bro What Is Going On who hacked my Wikipedia".

Be bold and add it then (don't cite the tweet). ―Howard🌽33 16:58, 25 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
