Whom?
[edit]'On 14 June 2023, Thorpe gained media attention after she and Amanda Stoker accused Senator David Van of sexually assaulting her during parliament.'
Assaulting whom, Thorpe or Stoker? This needs to be specified in the section.
Also, the Senate section is composed almost entirely of what is usually called 'scandals'. Surely she must have done something else, too? 62.73.72.3 (talk) 17:56, 26 October 2024 (UTC)

'She had misspoke'

Honoured in Street Art
[edit]In 2022, Gadigal artist JESWRI painted a two story mural of Senator Lidia Thorpe on Lygon Street, Brunswick, featuring the bold word TREATY across the artwork—a call for justice and First Nations sovereignty. In 2025, JESWRI updated the mural, re-emphasizing the word TREATY (NOW) to reflect the ongoing struggle of First Nations voices to be heard in Australia, following the failed ‘Voice to parliament’ campaign.
