Somebody recently has created both a template for La dispute aswell as article for their entire discography. While i'm okay with this the articles need sources to pass for WP:NN and a way of doing that is to source the pages appropriately. i recomend some changes to articles as well:
- Vancouver is a Mini-LP because is referenced more as a full-length than an EP and should be moved to the albums part of the discography.
- I rekon the hear, here EP's should be mereged into one article about it as a series because of both the amount of information about them avaliable and also they are closely related.
- Somewhere at the bottom... should have a better written article.
Thirdly, the La Dispute page it self requires a history section and a more compehensive musical style section. I will contribut myself as well i just believe there should be consensus on significant article changes. I look forward to seeing if any editors wish to contribute to my suggestions. Eh, I capitalized a few proper nouns. No other changes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 143.81.160.77 (talk) 22:47, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
I think the numerous citations in the Charity section should be broken out into bullet points of which year the band donated to which charity. I'll do that if I can find information for each year and an example of the best way to format it. Empireempire (talk) 04:03, 26 July 2016 (UTC)

The members section of the little information box still lists Gene Belcher as the vocalist. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.214.138.51 (talk) 14:39, 16 June 2021 (UTC)

La Dispute recently traveled back to Grand Rapids to play a show for the 10th Anniversary of Room Of The House. They performed at 20 Monroe Live on Sep. 28th 2024. It would be awesome for this to be added to the history section by someone more adept than me since it is a huge deal for not only the band, but their Grand Rapids fanbase in general. - The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: Move the play; no consensus to move the band * Pppery * it has begun... 03:21, 16 June 2025 (UTC)
– Band page shows clear notability while the play only has three sources (only one of which I know is notable, though the second I wouldn't assume isn't). Band page has consistently received several times as many page views as the play for the past decade. Aside from the play coming first/being the namesake for the band, I don't see what would make it PTOPIC. QuietHere (talk | contributions) 16:46, 13 May 2025 (UTC) — Relisting. Jeffrey34555 (talk) 02:33, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
- Support 2nd, oppose 1st. It is actually quite impressive for an 18-century play to receive as many pageviews as it does, so I don't think we can confidently say that the band is primary by long-term significance. Disambiguation is the best approach here. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 17:52, 13 May 2025 (UTC)
- Support both. I would not be surprised if a large portion of the play's view count was misplaced visitors looking for the band. Anarchyte (talk) 06:10, 15 May 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose moving the band, support moving the play instead "La Dispute" should point to Dispute (disambiguation) and both be listed there -- 65.93.183.249 (talk) 04:47, 24 May 2025 (UTC)
- Support both. The band is clear primary per usage, with 93% of pageviews. Per Wikinav, the only page readers navigate to from La Dispute is La Dispute (band), consistent with Anarchyte's supposition. No evidence is provided that the play is primary by longterm significance. --MYCETEAE 🍄🟫—talk 00:18, 28 May 2025 (UTC)
