OS Grid Reference

[edit]

I believe the grid reference is wrong: it points to Kemsing rather than Knockholt. Jamesedmo 19:22, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your right I noticed that too will try to fix if I can figure it out. - Yeah I think I done it now.

kytens in french?

[edit]

Is there a reason why there's a link to a french telecoms site on here? If its referring to the youth am. theatre group, that's not their website. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Palamon uk (talkcontribs) 17:24, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Knockholt pound.

[edit]

Wasn't there originally a medieval "pound" driven by a waterwheel, somewhere in the area, where crude iron from the Weald was pounded or beaten into useable bars? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.93.199.154 (talk) 07:07, 31 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, in a village such as this the pound was a fenced area where rogue livestock were taken if they were found outwith their usual fields, waiting to be reclaimed. Tim (Xevious) (talk) 11:27, 10 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
