The link to Perils of Presidentialism doesn't work for me today, I found this instead https://scholar.harvard.edu/levitsky/files/1.1linz.pdf. I propose to update the link in a day or so unless told not to, although it seems this article is a prequel to "Democracy: Presidential or Parliamentary Does it Make a Difference?", which I found very hard to find but succeeded, it's here https://pdfs.semanticscholar.org/21e8/090d4d8e1cc275a5508d46239cda7d23d1c9.pdf.
