In the early 80s I worked with a man whose name was Dick West in San Diego; he mentioned that his son was the bassist for Iron Butterfly. Obviously, no bassist with the same last name pops up on the band's lengthy personnel list but since Jerry is from SD I wonder if there might be a connection. Thanks for any info!
