I removed the statement regarding the poisoned Jel Sert product that was used in a cult suicide. It does add anything of informative value to the Jel Sert article as it relates to the company or its products. If the statement should be made, IMHO, it should be included in the article relating the suicide only. -- Zytron08:19, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Seeing as this is a significant enough piece of history to enter, in an incorrect form, the national lexicon ("Don't drink the Kool-Aid"), mentioning it here as well is certainly necessary and beneficial. I know where you're coming from; too many pages have trivia sections along the lines of "and the Bible was once mentioned in an episode of Family Guy." This is not the case here. The fact is, the Jim Jones massacre is better known than Jel Sert. Also, Zytron, remember not to mark any edit where you are deleting information (non-vandalism revert) as minor. If you are unsure as to what a minor edit entails, please check the Minor_edits page.Sir Isaac Lime11:36, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
