Distance
[edit]The article states "at the Danube's 1,007 kilometres". This is meaningless to most readers, is there a way to include better location data? A town or some other point on a map? If this is from the source of the Danube then state that, it could also be from the other end of the river? Avi8tor (talk) 09:52, 24 July 2025 (UTC)
- Hi there. On maps, whether geological, tourist, recreational, or navigational (as these marks are used for navigable rivers), kilometer marks are measured from the river’s confluence. As for the other location data, in this case the very same sentence already states that the location is in the area of the village of Dobra. However, the kilometer mark provides greater precision. While the village itself stretches along the Danube’s bank for only about 300 meters (or slightly over 1 kilometer if including tourist facilities), its administrative area extends for nearly 20 kilometers along the river.
