This article should be split to seperate his First from his Second term Lukt64 (talk) 02:10, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Lukt64: You might want to explain why. I would not inherently oppose such a split, but I would want to be convinced that a good reason exists for it and that it would be performed more neatly than the previous attempt – the title of the page about protests during the second Trump term would probably be more like "Protests against the second presidency of Donald Trump" than "Protests against Donald Trump (Second term)", and such a split should be performed evenly with the first term, either through a refocusing of the current article into "Protests against the first presidency of Donald Trump" or creation of a new article at that title. –Gluonz^{talk contribs} 02:27, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Because his second term is likely just going to be much different than his first, he is promising much more conservative policies and its very likely that by the end of 2026, this page would require a split due to size. Lukt64 (talk) 03:23, 8 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Agree. A split between Trump's first and second terms seems justified for both organizational clarity and practicality. Separating, at least, the terms (each with the pre-presidency protests) allows for a more focused and detailed articles, and additionally addresses the growing size of the article, per WP:SIZE.
