Horses in Denmark is faulty

[edit]

The Faroe Horse is not common or native to Denmark. I think it should be the Frederiksborg horse, as Christian the IV had serveral studs containing these horses. The studs were colour separated, and used for draft and "Carrousells" sporting games like former times' tournaments.

There are several books mentioning this. Later on these horses were bred for drafting, and then later on as riding horses again.

I had never ever seen a horse from the Faroes in my life. And I had been a horse fancier for 55 yrs.

Icelandic horses are common enough.
