Update on 2023 developments in Internet history

I propose adding an update to the article regarding key developments in the history of the Internet in 2023. This includes advancements in Internet infrastructure, specifically the continued rollout of 5G networks, which have enhanced data speeds and connectivity. This evolution supports emerging technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and is expected to play a major role in shaping the future of global internet usage.

Additionally, the increasing discussions around internet regulation and data privacy, particularly in response to concerns about large tech companies' control over online information, are important to include in the context of the Internet's ongoing evolution. These discussions are shaping global internet governance and usage.

I believe this would add valuable, up-to-date information about the Internet's growth and impact. Relevant sources include reports from the Internet Society and major news outlets like The Verge or Wired. Bedig2 (talk) 06:28, 14 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Some African guy changed the years of numerous events in the timeline and added references to "Cachiman", I think you guys should sort that out. I'm just an IP after all 2A01:CB14:60D:BA00:403E:A4F9:4BE5:DDBB (talk) 22:13, 31 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
