This Heloise is not the original columnist, so this title is confusing. I propose moving this page to Heloise (daughter), moving the mother's page to Heloise (mother), and turning this page into a DAB for the two. --valereee (talk) 09:37, 5 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree with Carolyn regarding gift cards. I'm in my 80's and I have everything I need. So gift cards is a perfect gift for me. Everyone knows my favorite restaurants and they all give me gift cards as gifts. It has nothing to do with not taking time to shop for a gift. Maybe Carolyn needs to let people know where she likes to shop that way she can pick something that she likes. In the past I have received gifts that I had no use for, however, I do appreciate any gift that I receive. 2603:8000:9D00:1FB:A5:91BC:6B43:D8C6 (talk) 17:29, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
