I'll get to this shortly--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 19:26, 12 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

  • Why is File:Pansarbåten Svea.jpg a CC0?
    • Sorry, I do not know. It was uploaded by Militärhistorikern in 2020, and they had an image removed for copyright violation. Removed as a precaution.
  • Marine steam engine is a broad category. Be more specific
    • Unfortunately, the sources speak of horizontal engines but do not say, for example, if they are vibrating lever engines.
  • There's a lot of info here that is better left to the class article, IMO. Like gun weight, range, coal consumption, etc.
    • You are right that some of the data is common across the class, but there are so many small differences between the ships I feel it is useful to go into the detail. I plan to write Göta soon, which will complete the class members, and then may update the class article itself.
  • Power was provided by six cylindrical marine boilers feeding steam to two horizontal marine steam engines and rated at 3,100 indicated horsepower (2,300 kW) driving two shafts, giving a design speed of 14 knots (26 km/h; 16 mph). Pretty convoluted sentence. I suggest breaking it into two sentences.
    • Good idea. Split.
  • Is there a misplaced decimal point in the modernization paragraph? The armor figures for the main and secondary armament are significantly less protective than when built. Did they use compound armor for the modernization?--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 19:46, 19 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
