Volkswagen TDI can't even...
I would wait to cite a third party source to specifically use the word "greenwashing" to describe VW's cheating on emissions controls in the Volkswagen#Defeat_device_scandal, but I think it has to be counted as an egregious example. Consumers chose VW diesels because they thought they could have a green car that was fun too, but were in fact deceived. --Dennis Bratland (talk)
