I'm greek and since greece is an orthodox country and most of the cities in greece have two flags, the greek orthodox flag (double headed eagle with an yellow background) next to the greek flag, almost every village, city or historical site has one in greece, i think yall should add the state religion flag next to the greek flag and coat of arms

@Skidriote:  Not done: welcome to Wikipedia. The church doesn't represent the country so it isn't included. Also, Wikipedia cannot accept information based on your personal experience; information must be verifible. Please provide a reliable source to support this change. Thank you. i have multiple photos of places in greece with the double headed flag next to the greek flag and the church does represent the country since greece is an orthodox country, not secular, its flags are always next to a greek one. Skidriote (talk) 00:39, 23 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Failure to reference persecution of ottoman muslims

[edit]

The Wikipedia page for the Hellenic Republic fails to mention its participation in the genocide of ottoman Muslims. This is a fact and unfortunately one of the founding pillars of the Greek nation. 2A0A:EF40:134:7201:4008:F76:119D:F942 (talk) 03:47, 19 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Excellent idea, and we can also mention Algeria's genocide against the French people (I don't know how they got to Algeria in the first place, or why that would be important), or Libya's completely uncalled for expulsion of Italian Catholics. Or maybe Iraqis and Afghans killing Americans just for wearing camouflage suits. Unknown Temptation (talk) 19:26, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Algeria killed tens out thousands of rench and expulsions are not genocides it was common practice for Greek nationalists to massacare Muslims and Jews and contributed to over a million deaths in Greece alone its best to include historic context and the disputable crimes against humanity which they are accountable for 2A0A:EF40:141B:1701:B4F8:AF9A:DDB9:5361 (talk) 19:08, 9 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Also will be great context for the unfortunate Greek fascism which is common place in Greece today and will help to tackle radicalism in not only Greece alone but also in the diaspora 2A0A:EF40:141B:1701:B4F8:AF9A:DDB9:5361 (talk) 19:09, 9 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
