Ghanchi Para is a very small neighborhood of Karachi Wikimapia and population about 1000 families. There may be more then 5,00,000 Ghanchis in Pakistan. Most Ghanchis have moved away from Ghanchi Para to other parts of Karachi citi. The Ghanchis are small businessmen and have prospered over the years. . The Gujarati language is not taught in Pakistan and only older generation of Ghanchis can read and write it, but new generation only speaks Gujrati as there mother tounge. GHANCHI SAMAJ OF GUJARAT In India we are having All India Ghanchi Federation based at Mumbuai. But We are from Gujarat,where we have Gujarat Samast Muslim Ghanchi Samaj at Ahmedabad. This isa State level organization of Ghanchis of all Jamats of Gujarat. We all know that the Ghanchis in the world they all have migrated from Gujarat only.
