Vehicle size
[edit]The Terrain is GMC's smallest vehicle slotted below the Acadia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:18D:4700:9EF0:890A:6221:E0A7:BDF8 (talk) 07:00, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
I don't know who's the idiot who keeps changing it back to "mid-size", but the car is nothing other than a compact crossover.FeralLynX (talk) 22:52, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
- I wasn't the one who changed it, but I've looked through a few things: Consumer Guide classifies it as a mid-size crossover, and it's quite close in size to the preceding mid-size TrailBlazer/Envoy. It's much larger than a Ford Escape, which is decidedly a compact. I couldn't access GMC's website because of it's poor design so if there's any indication there of how they position it I couldn't find it. --Sable232 (talk) 23:13, 1 February 2011 (UTC)
Merge With Chevy Equniox

- Support, yeah if the GMC Sierra and the GMC Yukon Denali XL can't have their own page, then I don't see why this article should. Formyparty (talk) 01:00, 28 April 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose - Not enough of a reason to merge. If each article has enough unique content, they can remain separate. You're welcome to propose splitting GMC Sierra if you think there's enough unique content. Only in the past couple generations has it really diverged from the Chevrolet Silverado. --Vossanova o< 22:45, 30 April 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose - the GMC Terrain and Chevrolet Equinox have different sheet metal and overall design. its like saying a Chevrolet Trailblazer and Isuzu Ascender are the same. Yes they do share the same frame but the reason why the Sierra and Yukon don't have a page is because they're just rebadged as the Silverado and Tahoe respectively MistaCash5478 (talk) 04:11, 11 May 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose - different name plus different sheetmetal suffices; see WP:OTHERSTUFF for Sierra v Denali XL argument. Mr.choppers | ✎ 15:19, 11 May 2025 (UTC)
