Meal Money

[edit]

Don't all professional baseball players receive meal money in addition to their salaries? I'm sure that it's just at the independent league level like the Frontier League it is just that it is a larger proportion of the compensation. 72.105.0.89 (talk) 03:22, 19 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

level of play

[edit]

Does someone know what level is the Frontier League? Like AAA? AA? 192.139.231.252 (talk) 14:06, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

None. The rankings of Single-A, Double-A, Triple-A apply to teams and leagues in Minor League Baseball, not to independent baseball leagues like the Frontier League. You can find various opinions of what they're comparable to, but there is no official answer. -- Pemilligan (talk) 04:46, 8 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

New England?

[edit]

Is there a supporting reference for a New England team? -- Pemilligan (talk) 00:47, 4 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Updated with the league's press release. -- Pemilligan (talk) 01:04, 12 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Mississippi location changes

[edit]

Hey, this is probably really petty but I don't know anywhere to put this so its going here. Someone keps changing the location of the Mud Monsters to Jackson, Mississippi, when they play in Pearl. You could say its a suburb, but its 13 miles away and 25 mins away from Jackson, and with that logic you would say all the Chicago area teams play in Chicago, Wildthings in Pittsburgh, Crushers in Cleveland, and Florence in Cincinnati. If there is an admin or anyone seeing this can you please do something to prevent this? Thanks! JakeLaroi (talk) 16:00, 4 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

See Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Kaepertank. Their latest IP has been blocked for a month, but this individual has been going on like this for four years now, so who knows. -- Pemilligan (talk) 18:25, 5 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
