'cloud infrastructure service Rise, and has operations in the United States' 'and also launched a reseller hosting service in the United States.[10] Cloud infrastructure service Rise was launched in 2010.[11] Fasthosts is the founding sponsor of The Great Exhibition 2012.[12]'
Rise is no longer a part of Fasthosts, nor do they have a presence in the United States or participate in the exhibition mentioned. Please remove these sections too.
Additional information that would add to the comprehensiveness of the article and explain the core business purpose of the company:
Fasthosts is a leading hosting technology provider. Operations are run out of state of the art wholly owned data centres with 24/7 onsite engineers, phone and online support. Solutions include Virtual Private Servers, Dedicated Servers, Hosted Exchange email, Online Backup, secure online storage, Web Hosting and Domain registrations.

- Sorry but the suggested addition is far too promotional, Wikipedia articles are written from a neutral point of view and should not read like advertisements. We don't usually remove information just because it's no longer current, we put it in the past tense. Can you tell me what happened to Rise and the US operations? COI Edit Request: Fasthosts page updates (outdated content)
[edit]{{edit COI|declared=yes}}
Hi editors, I have a disclosed COI as I work on behalf of Fasthosts. I'm suggesting factual, cited edits to help update outdated information, without adding promotional language.
Key edit requests:
- Please remove the mention to UKreg, as it ceased to operate as a standalone brand in March 2024. [1]
- Please add that in October 2024, Fasthosts CEO Simon Yeoman exited the company. Simon joined Fasthosts in 2008 and held several roles including operations director and MD before becoming CEO in 2018. [2] Simon Yeoman remained in an advisory capacity until February 2025, when he was officially terminated as director. [3]
- Please add that in October 2024, Fasthosts then appointed Rupert Bedell as their new Managing Director. [4]
- Please add that the Fasthosts head office is now located in the newly developed Gloucester city centre Forum Building, where they moved their 250 employees into the £107m development in January 2025. [5]
- Finally, please add that in October 2022, Fasthosts alongside IONOS their parent company, opened their 30,729 sq ft data centre in Worcester Business Park. The project was said to cost £21mn. [6] Fasthosts data centres are powered by 100% renewable energy. [7] The new Worcester data centre deployed various green technologies such as solar photovoltaic panels which covers up to 10% of the energy use at the site . [8] After the UK ban of red diesel in 2022, the Worcester data centre is ran on vegetable oil as HVO fuel (an advanced renewable diesel alternative). [9]
