he not loosely based ON ANYONE. the pilot episode is based on mark wahlberg every episode after s1e1 is written just for the show. In real life the vegas baby vegas episode in season 3 part 1 was closer to how mark and his entourage acted. But still they were more violent and got into fights. As per an interview with walhberg. Since its asked to him many times. – Pageview statistics from the past five years indicate that the fictional character (who is actually better known as "E" on the show anyway) receives fewer than two-thirds of total views for the name "Eric Murphy", with the remainder distributed among real individuals, including Eric E. Murphy, a sitting judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. It should be difficult for fictional characters to be considered the primary topic over real individuals, particularly when one such subject holds a prominent and ongoing public role. Agreed on principle, someone needs to state the long-term significance argument for the fictional character for this to persist. If we extend the historical graph further like this it seems the heyday is long past. Would any reader be surprised that they have to choose the character from a short list? Seems doubtful.
