Correct spelling is Intrenching

The correct wording of this device is an "intrenching tool," as verified by the current manufacturer of the device for the U.S. Army. http://www.kippertool.com/military-issue-intrenching-tool-foldable-shovel-black.html

I've never heard that before in my life. Just like i've never heard of Intangle, Ingage, or Inclose. But what do I know, i'm not the current manufacturer for the Army. --Converting to insanity (talk) 08:01, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

redundant articles

theres no polish version for this article while there is a equivalent one under a different name "saperka" that also is in a few other languages it would probably make sense to have these merged if possible since both refer to mostly the exact same thing Notmedic2 (talk) 23:09, 7 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

That doesn't sound like a merge, just like linking en:Entrenching tool to pl:Saperka. That's a basic edit at Wikidata.

The trouble is that these articles are already (somewhat) linked, but German Wikipedia has two articles, one at de:Feldspaten and the other at de:Schanzzeug. We'd have to decide how to link around those first. If you speak German, then maybe ask the German Wikipedia people what they see as the difference, and whether those articles should be merged?
