Comparison to cannelure

I removed the parenthetical description of the See also term cannelure as the small arms equivalent because, while both encircle the projectile, the cannelure is a groove of smaller diameter than the barrel bore and the body of the bullet, while the driving band diameter is larger than the body of the shell, and often somewhat larger than the bore of a new barrel to form a good seal in an eroded barrel.
