[edit]- Could someone create an article for the current CEO David Nelms? Thanks! Jccort (talk) 18:06, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
Discover Bank is no more. The discover network will remain a subsidiary.
[edit]With that in mind should the article say that discover as a whole is a subsidiary or should it be updated to only reflect the network? 208.59.190.36 (talk) 15:58, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
- This is both true and false. At this time, there has only been a change of ownership of the entity Discover Financial Services, Inc. However, it is over the entire entity - Bank, Credit Cards, Loans, etc. are now owned by Cap One. All branding remains the same. All products remain the same. In reviewing their 'learn more' information online, the only material change - not yet in place - is that in six months, FDIC insurance for Cap One and Discover will be under one umbrella, so customers may need to re-jigger their assets to stay within the FDIC limits. Other than that, which again isn't active yet, literally nothing has changed. Since WP isn't supposed to speculate, there's nothing that needs to be changed. cheers. anastrophe, an editor he is. 18:44, 19 May 2025 (UTC)
