Is there some physiological reason why this needs to happen? For example, is something that is important to vision being regenerated because it would otherwise decay over time? -- Beland (talk) 17:10, 12 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Figure feedback

The drawn discs don't reflect the biological structure correctly. Rather than a continuous wavy line, they should be individual discs, because they are separate plasma membrane evaginations. Mopeheapy (talk) 16:14, 14 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
