Golconda and Bijapur going unmentioned in the military conflict infobox
[edit]The Sultanates of Golconda and Bijapur Should be added to the belligerents section of the military conflict infobox. They're mentioned directly in the article itself and should be added to the belligerents section as their annexation was a major strategic accomplishment by Aurangzeb that directly played a part in the war. [edit]"The Mughal–Maratha Wars had a significant impact on the political and social landscape of India. The wars weakened both the Mughal and Maratha empires, paving the way for European colonial powers to establish themselves in India." This particularly section should be removed. There's no citation provided for this. Maratha Empire still lasted for over a century after these events and European powers only came into full power after the early 1800s. 2409:40F4:3D:C24D:8000:0:0:0 (talk) 19:03, 22 January 2025 (UTC)

Start date
[edit]There is an inherent contradiction in the article in respect to the start date. The lead states were a series of military conflicts ... from the time of Shivaji's death in 1680
[died 3 April 1680] but the infobox gives 8 September 1681
as the start date. What do sources say as the start date appears to be unverified. Cinderella157 (talk) 00:42, 11 May 2025 (UTC)
this source would indicate a start in 1689. Cinderella157 (talk) 02:09, 11 May 2025 (UTC)
This source would give the start as 1680. Cinderella157 (talk) 02:37, 11 May 2025 (UTC)

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. Dahawk04 (talk) 17:10, 1 July 2025 (UTC)
