The third paragraph now says "where he worked on the theory of magnetism." In fact, he worked on the theory of magnetic sound recording, as evidenced by the paper

"Signal and Noise Levels in Magnetic Tape Recording", D. E. Wooldridge, AIEE Transactions, Vol 65, pp 343...352 (1946 June),

and in his Oral History Transcript at http://www.aip.org/history/ohilist/4981.html , search on the phrase "magnetic sound recording".

A line that both Wooldridge's and Ramo's pages share are in conflict.

[edit]

From Dean Wooldridge article, 3rd graph, 2nd sentence;

"with Ramo concentrating on investment and general business aspects while Wooldridge led research"

From Ramo article, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_Ramo, Career, 2nd graph, first sentence;

"with Wooldridge concentrating on investment and general business aspects while Ramo led research"

These two lines contradict one another and I just wanted to inform the leading authors so they may be corrected. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JimmyBook (talkcontribs) 00:36, 4 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
