Memorial

[edit]

The memorial is indeed close to the road known as Dawley Bank. Imperial War Museum links to the exact location, it's on a green at the Dawley Bank end of Station Road. Which settlement is is technically in, or if, as the original editor said it straddles the boundary is something that it's hard to ascertain. Google maps excludes this green running the boundary north up Ladygrove, to Station road, detouring around a property in Station road before continuing as far as Dawley Bank where it takes a left, excluding the Bulls head. However the Bulls Head believes it is in Dawley Bank (Fb). But maybe it's referring to the road. Lawley Bank, however, is placed by Google Maps a lot further away at the other end of Station Road.
