Corn chips/tortilla chips in Australia and Oceania

[edit]

I removed this statement as I could not find support for it. To the contrary, there were many websites in the .au domain referring to tortilla chips.Geoff (talk) 00:00, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cultural references

[edit]

I removed this cultural reference as I am not sure it contributes to the article. But I'm putting it here for other editors to consider whether this (and other) cultural references might enhance the article.Geoff (talk) 00:13, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • "An amusing cultural reference occurs in the animated film Mulan, where Mushu refers to male body odor as 'that corn chip smell.'"

– Consistent with Potato chips and other snacks. Wikipedia:Consistency in article titles is important and probably better than a strict interpretation of Wikipedia:Naming conventions (plurals). The lead of most of these articles begins with the plural term. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 15:23, 4 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
