Revamped entire article
[edit]This article was in lousy shape when I found it. It was full of errors in spelling, punctuation, and grammar, and it came across as a promotional brochure. Plus the sources were of little value and not cited correctly. So, I spent almost all day yesterday working on it and I think I got it to an acceptable state. It is as neutral and encyclopedic in tone as I could make it. Now someone has come along and nominated it to be deleted because they don't think the subject of the article is notable enough somehow. I don't quite understand that reasoning, so if you want to add your opinion, please click on the link at top of the article to do so. nycdi (talk) 04:29, 18 September 2018 (UTC)
A bend in the river is Colin Broderick's second feature
[edit]I'd like to contribute, but it seems that I am not allowed to do it in English. That's what I would add following the style of previous paragraphs:
His second film A Bend in the River was world-premiered at the Belfast Film Festival in 2020. Written by the director himself and based on his life, centres on a forty-something writer called Matt Donnelly (played by John Duddy), who comes home to County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, after spending 26 years in New York, to confront the ghosts of his past. It was produced by Julie Ryan at MK1 Productions, the original score was composed by Colm Mac Con Iomaire and the cinematographer was Shane F Kelly.
