wrong attribution of the French abbreviation

"The European Organization for Nuclear Research, known as CERN (/sɜːrn/; French pronunciation: [sɛʁn]; Organisation européenne pour la recherche nucléaire)"

the attribution does not match the abbreviation (CERN ≠ Organisation Européenne pour la Recherche Nucléaire), in fact, if you'll look at the french source it will point the abbreviation is Conseil européen pour la recherche nucléaire 212.116.162.43 (talk) 21:09, 25 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

CERN as se:rn and seʁn for the french listing

Why does the ʁ is used in this context for the French pronunciation? Chile is an associate member since 2025

Question: The section CERN#Enlargement (last bullet item) notes that Chile is eligible but must complete necessary accession and ratification processes before being designated as an Associate Member.
