The section needs to clarify (with appropriate sources natch) that the ancient literature of China was not lost during QSH's purges, even assuming their historicity and attempted thoroughness. The First Emperor burned everyone else's copies of the works but kept his own at Xianyang and/or Epang, which were subsequently burned by Han and Chu during the collapse of the Qin. That was the moment of their actual loss, which is worth noting in the same way that Alexandria needs several caveats. — LlywelynII 12:23, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
