Title

Should the page be title "Astérix and Obélix: The Big Fight" or "Asterix and Obelix: The Big Fight" ? The characters' names are generally written without accents in English. Psychloppos (talk) 07:47, 13 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Fainting

@Psychloppos: Your edit summary here was Actually Obelix gets emotional and faints because he notices Asterix's absence, not because he has to give a speech - unless I'm mistaken, it is not suggested that he has to give one before the fight. I'm afraid that you are very much mistaken. It's established in the first episode that public speaking causes Obelix to have stage fright and faint. It happens again in the second episode when he's called upon to give a speech, but Asterix saves him from fainting. Before the fight, the referee hands the "microphone" to Obelix and tells him he has to give a speech, causing him to get stage fright again and faint. @Hex: ok, maybe you're right and I should rewatch the episode. My bad ! :) Of course I remembered that Obelix gets emotional in public when Asterix is not there to help him, but I had somehow forgotten about the speech part. We should mention Asterix's absence, though. I'll fix this now.
