Consistency in Names

The assassin is named at first as Ashshu, thereafter as Ashu. Is that central consonant single, or is it double? One of the chief suspects is named as Col. Abdullah at-Tell, or sometimes as Col. el-Tell. This is a matter of different techniques for transliterating Arabic, but could we come to a decision? J S Ayer (talk) 21:05, 20 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
