Request for template removal: Inline citations and BLP sourcing resolved

[edit]

Hi @Mooonswimmer ,

Substantial improvements have been made to this article to address the issues flagged in the January 2023 maintenance tags, particularly the lack of inline citations and insufficient sourcing for a living person (BLP).

The following actions have been taken:

  • Inline citations have been added throughout the article for all biographical claims, career milestones, and theoretical contributions.
  • Reputable and verifiable sources—including academic journals, university websites, interviews, books, and institutional profiles—have been incorporated. These include references from Harvard University Press, Stanford University Press, Springer, Oxford University Press, openDemocracy, Ahram Weekly, and multiple university-affiliated research centers.
  • Multiple substantive sections were added with proper referencing:

- Scholarly Contributions

- Post-Islamism

- Street Politics

- Quiet Encroachment

- Non-Movements

  • Sources are cited inline, with proper formatting, avoiding vague or general referencing.
  • The article has been edited in accordance with BLP guidelines to ensure accuracy, neutrality, and verification.

Given these changes, the concerns originally prompting the maintenance templates no longer apply. Requesting your review and, if appropriate, removal of the maintenance tags. Mahdi Fahimi (talk) 10:25, 7 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
