I just created an account and this is my first Wikipedia edit. I'm not sure whether this is a real article or a tutorial--I just followed the yellow brick road after my account was registered, and Wikipedia suggested I edit this one. I have a little knowledge of satellites but not much, so please feel free to undo any changes I make.Danlittman (talk) 01:04, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I think "$7,000,000 million funds" must be redundant, but I don't know what would be correct. ($7 million is extraordinarily cheap for a comm satellite, but obviously $7 million million, aka $7 trillion, is not the right price tag.) As I'm a newbie, can one of you old-timers tell me how to find who wrote the original article so I can ask him or her about details? Danlittman (talk) 01:10, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Looking at the article a bit more, I realized that it needs a comprehensive rewrite. I have the editing skills to do that but not the knowledge of the Wikipedia markup, so I'm not going to do any more. I have a question for an old-timer: Is an article that needs this much work usually kept in some kind of holding tank before it goes public?Danlittman (talk) 01:19, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
