"Storeship" Link
[edit]Hello! I believe the page that "storeship" directs to is innacurate for the Apollo - Apollo was not a naval storeship, it was a commercial "store-ship," the result of many abandoned sailing vessels left out in Yerba Buena Harbor following the 1849 Gold Rush, many of which were converted into general warehouses, office spaces, and businesses. These structures were locally referred to as "storeships." I will untether the existing storeship page for now, but please correct me if I'm wrong. 2600:1700:8A10:74B0:31A4:437F:E48F:6737 (talk) 13:53, 12 June 2025 (UTC)
