It seems incredibly relevant to his public persona and part of the reason that he isn't pitching for anyone anymore. 72.142.92.201 (talk) 15:53, 13 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Change is to Was a professional pitcher 199.17.128.1 (talk) 04:11, 10 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Actualcpscm (talk) 11:59, 10 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
By what standard is Bass a professional pitcher? The claim that he is requires supporting evidence. Not that athletes are truly in the professional class, but we refer to those who earn an income playing a sport as professional. He hasn't done that in years now. There are plenty of former "professional" athletes who haven't filed retirement papers or still hold out some hope of being signed to a contract. Anthony Bass hasn't been under contract as a baseball player since 2023. Considering his age (an lack of ability) there is no reason to think that he will be again. 72.142.92.201 (talk) 15:29, 13 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
