Anjeli Elisaputri rape and murder → Murder of Anjeli Elisaputri – Most other pages titled after a murder follow this format (e.g. Murder of George Floyd). WP:CONSISTENT clearly applies here. TRCRF22 (talk) 16:43, 12 June 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose (on grounds given) I don't know why, but for some reason loads of articles from this region of the world are written like this. In the west yes, but in Singapore and India this is the title for quite a lot of articles. PARAKANYAA (talk) 20:37, 13 June 2025 (UTC)
- Support:
- The order with "of" improves clarity: the reader immediately knows that the name is the victim's name, rather than the perpetrator or place. It is also the order specified by Wikipedia:Naming conventions (violence and deaths) and Wikipedia:"Murder of" articles.
- Removing "rape and" makes the title more concise, focuses on the most serious crime, and matches a substantial majority of similar articles (most hits for intitle:"murder of" rape do not also have "rape" in the title). A 2024 RM had a similar outcome. Jruderman (talk) 02:14, 14 June 2025 (UTC)
