Is the AER considered *the* best economics journal?
[edit]I sometimes hear people refer to it this way, and this article ranks it at the top: uoguelph.ca/economics/repec/workingpapers/2010/2010-09.pdf . Other methodologies produce other answers of the "best", however: https://ideas.repec.org/top/top.journals.all.html .

The "controversy" section is very vague and one-sided
[edit]The controversy started due to omitted citations to the psychology literature. These were addressed in a peer-reviewed note in the final version of the paper. Other complaints do not seem particularly substantiated.
Should this section simply be deleted?
