Realistic?

[edit]

how realistic is the photo of the iraqi vice president with on the background an obviously dominant us flag?

Death

[edit]

CNN is reporting his death: http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/meast/03/07/iraq.main/index.html 74.68.123.162 (talk) 12:29, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

CNN has fixed the error. 74.68.123.162 (talk) 13:04, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is he still Prime Minister?

[edit]

Articles said on 1 December ([1][2]) that Mahdi would resign, not that he has resigned. I am confused because it seems that he has handed in his resignation, but that he is still in office, the article Prime Minister of Iraq also says he is still in office. Is this a case of him actually having resigned and Iraq not having a prime minister at the moment, or editors preemptively adding in his resignation? I believe editors are, in good faith, adding Mr. Mahdi's resignation: he is still the caretaker Prime Minister, I believe. Javert2113 (Siarad.|¤) 21:03, 9 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Missing info

[edit]

The article jumps from him being an exile in 1982 to being an outgoing vice president in 2006. What on earth happened in between?! Furius (talk) 01:39, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
