Background

[edit]

The content of the Background section is copied and pasted from Weekends with Adele. This should be replaced by new and condensed text connecting to the start of the Development section. Oroborvs (talk) 15:16, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Future GA?

[edit]

Nice work on this, Oroborvs. Was wondering if you plan on GA nominating this soon? It would be nice to see Queen A get another GA. As an aside, I do not understand how 30 works as the associated album for this, since only 4/20 songs and one interlude on the set list is from it?--NØ 02:17, 26 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@MaranoFan: Hi. Thanks. Yes, it will be evaluated against the GA criteria in the near future, but I don't know when exactly. As you can see, the Synopsis and The Saturn Times sections have not been completed. "Associated album: 30" was in the infobox before I started expanding the article. Later, I added "Organised to support her 2021 album 30" in the lead because it is evident to me. 4/20 songs and an interlude, "All Night Parking" from 30, with a video of Adele singing it projected on the giant screen while she walked from the B-stage to the main stage. During Weekends with Adele, she sang 5/21 songs from 30, which isn't much better, and 5/18 songs at Hyde Park 2022 [1]. 28 January 2024: "Adele has said she will embark on a world tour on her next album cycle" [2]. Adele in Munich was placed between the penultimate and final legs of Weekends with Adele ... "Instead of touring to promote 30, she took up residence at the Colosseum" [3]. Adele in Munich was part of the promotion of 30, even though the setlist included few of these songs, hence the "associated album". Oroborvs (talk) 21:04, 26 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
