WikiProject Crime and Criminal Biography banner removed a second time

[edit]

@DarknessGoth777: I have removed the WikiProject Crime and Criminal Biography for the second time, as a response you reinstated it again after it was removed by @PARAKANYAA, previously. This is the second time you have been reverted - please don't make it a third. If you disagree with this then there is a dispute-resolution process you can follow. But first you should carefully read the guidelines about project scope and over-bannering and consider their implications for this situation. Not every article about people convicted of crimes needs to be a member of WikiProject Crime and Criminal Biography. While Hicks is included in WikiProject Biography and a couple of its task forces, he is not included in other WikiProjects he could be a member of. He is not included WikiProject California, which is where he lives and works, nor WikiProject Nevada, which is where he was born, nor WikiProject United States, the country which he is a citizen of. The removal of a WikiProject from an article's talk page after it has been placed there for assessment should suggest to you that the article is not considered important enough to be included in the WikiProject concerned. This avoids having to have importance ratings of "Very Low" or even lower than that. If you disagree, please explain your full reasoning for inclusion, as just being convicted of a crime is insufficient. - Cameron Dewe (talk) 00:32, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, this is not in scope for WP Crime. Unless part of someone's notability is crime it is not in scope. PARAKANYAA (talk) 00:32, 17 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
